Shivani Sehmi

Shivani is a second year trainee currently undertaking her fourth and final seat in the Commercial team. 

Shivani started her training contract in the Insolvency team in Leicester, dealing with contentious insolvency matters such as statutory demands and personal insolvency. She completed her second seat in the Corporate team in Milton Keynes, assisting fee earners on a range of corporate transactions, and recently finished her third seat with the Commercial Property team in Northampton, which included advising clients on the acquisition and disposal of freehold and leasehold properties, landlord and tenant issues and assisting fee earners with commercial property developments.

She studied at De Montfort University for her undergraduate degree and completed her Legal Practice Course at Nottingham Trent University in preparation for her training contract
