Howes Percival has welcomed seven new trainee solicitors to its offices across the East Midlands and East Anglia, while three new solicitors have been appointed having recently completed their training contracts with the firm.
Three of the new trainees, Alex Sims, Katherine Palmer and Kate Melton will begin their training contracts in Norwich with the Insolvency, Commercial Property and Estates teams, respectively. Lauren Hilton will begin her traineeship in Northampton in the Company Commercial team alongside Anna McCormack who will be working with the Commercial Property team. The firm’s Leicester office welcomes Eleanor Savage who joins the Company Commercial team and Jessica Mason who starts her training contract with a seat in Commercial Property.
Howes Percival’s training contract comprises four six-month seats in which the trainee spends time working in different departments to experience different areas of law. Trainees also usually split their time between offices in order to gain a broader experience of the firm as a whole.
Newly qualified solicitors
Following the successful completion of their training contracts with Howes Percival, three newly qualified solicitors have decided to continue their careers with the firm.
Leon Head joins the Insolvency team in Norwich, Jessica Cross qualifies into the Company Commercial team in Leicester and Stephen Ruse has been appointed to the Intellectual Property and IT team in Northampton.
Howes Percival Partner and Training Principal, Simon Murphy comments:
“We are delighted to welcome seven new trainees to Howes Percival. Our trainees are an integral part of the firm and we look forward to following and nurturing their progression to becoming fully-qualified solicitors.
We are equally pleased that three of our previous trainees have decided to continue their careers with Howes Percival. Our people are our most important asset and we invest heavily to ensure that our trainees and junior lawyers get the best start possible for their legal career.”
