Howes Percival was delighted to sponsor the University of Leicester Law Society’s client interviewing competition last month.
The competition is exclusive to second year, third year and senior status students and involves competitors, in teams of two, interviewing another student acting as a client. The competition focuses on the initial establishment of a professional relationship between a client and their solicitors and offers students an opportunity to practice and enhance their interviewing techniques. The goal is to fully grasp the client’s legal position in order to develop and advise the most effective course of legal action.
Howes Percival’s dispute resolution practice group leader and partner, Geraint Davies was pleased to sit on the panel of judges alongside Professors Paul McConnell and Steve Evans of the University of Leicester.
The winning team received a trophy and a mini vacation scheme with Howes Percival.
