Howes Percival Celebrates Pride Month with Inaugural Event

On 27 June, Howes Percival launched its inaugural Pride event in celebration of the LGBT+ community.

Led by the firm’s Equality and Diversity Committee, the event took place across the firm’s six offices which were decorated with rainbows and colourful balloons. Employees were also encouraged to dress up in bright colours to celebrate the day.

A bake sale took place across the offices where staff contributed homemade treats which helped to raise over £280 for LGBT+ charity, J ust Like U s.

Equality and Diversity Partner, Graham Irons said:

“It’s wonderful to see this kind of initiative coming out of the Equality and Diversity Committee and even better to see how strongly the event was embraced by the whole firm. I am very proud of the team’s efforts in making Howes Percival’s first Pride Day such a great success and look forward to seeing similar initiatives roll out in the future.”
