On the 27th May 2018, Amy Wallhead will be jumping 10,000 feet, and free-falling at over 120mph, in a tandem skydive to raise money for the Alzheimer's Society. Funds raised will go towards research into the cause, care, cure and prevention of all types of Dementia.

“I have decided to take part in this challenge for Alzheimer’s Society as I have always wanted to do a skydive, and to be able to support such a worthwhile cause at the same time makes it even better.”
Dementia can happen to anyone and there's currently no cure. There are 850,000 people with dementia in the UK and the number is set to rise to 1 million by 2021. Alzheimer's Society believes that life doesn't end when dementia begins. For more information, please visit https://www.alzheimers.org.uk/.
Amy is aiming to raise over £1,000 and if you would like to make a donation then please go to https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/amy-wallhead.
Thank you for supporting Amy, and for supporting the wonderful work of Alzheimer's Society.
Amy is a Dementia Friends Champion and regularly holds Dementia Friends sessions in and around Cambridge. If you would be interested in attending one of these sessions or have Amy attend your workplace to hold a session, please contact us.
