Howes Percival has appointed Simon Warburton as Partner and Head of the firm’s Banking team.
Simon is an experienced banking and finance lawyer having spent a number of years working for large international law firms in the City of London interspersed with stints at highly regarded regional firms. Valued by clients for his wide-ranging knowledge and commercially minded approach, Simon has delivered a huge range of finance transactions for a wide variety of clients.
He has broad experience across all areas of banking and finance and is particularly recognised for his expertise in asset-based lending and financing receivables. Simon’s wide-ranging experience means he is equally at home leading multi-jurisdictional teams on substantial syndicated lending transactions for large international banks and acting for local borrowers on relatively small venture debt and real estate facilities.
Howes Percival’s Corporate, Commercial and Banking team has grown rapidly in recent years, along with its reputation, following an influx of top talent. The Banking team offers dedicated banking and finance services to borrowers, banks, financial institutions, funds and other lenders. Simon will head-up the national team and joins Director Faye Meredith.
