Howes Percival has acted for Corby-based private equity investor Nene Capital on its acquisition of precision sheet metal manufacturing business Acegate (Manufacturing) Ltd.
Established in 1995 the Rochdale based manufacturer is renowned for its exceptional, precision-engineered products, manufactured from light gauge sheet metal and tubular section from various materials. Acegate specialises within the retail, automotive, office, furniture and construction sectors.
Howes Percival acted as legal advisers to Nene Capital and advised on all aspects of the acquisition.
The work on the deal was led by our Corporate, Commercial and Banking team (Matt Thompson, Emma Simmonds, Faye Meredith and Miles Barnes) with support from Michelle Woolston – property, Rob Starr – regulatory, Sobia Ahmad – employment and Zara Khan – IP & IT.
