Howes Percival has expanded its Agriculture and Estates team in the Norwich with the appointment of Legal Director Esther Round.
Howes Percival’s Agriculture and Estates team deals with the management of landed estates and farms, tax-efficient structuring, agricultural property, development land and tax. The team has a deep understanding of all types of landowning issues and is particularly known for dealing with unusually complex legal matters and finding solutions to help manage agricultural estates or farming businesses.
Esther is an experienced agricultural real estate solicitor who advises on all aspects of rural property and estates advisory and transactional work. She acts for rural landowners, estate owners, charitable institutions, governmental bodies, large corporate entities, financial institutions and agri-businesses.
Esther is experienced in large scale, high value acquisitions, disposals, financing and refinancing projects and has specialisms in advising on agricultural tenancies and Natural Capital projects including Biodiversity Net Gain schemes, Nutrient Neutrality mitigation, Carbon sequestration and rewilding projects, as well as advising on options, easements, commons land, adverse possession and unregistered title issues.
The Agriculture and Estates team supports the firm’s broader Private Client Services practice to provide a full-service offering, covering all the aspects of legal advice that landowners, landed estates and farmers need.
