Howes Percival has cemented its reputation as a leader in the business community after winning two prestigious awards at the East Midlands Chamber’s Leicestershire Business Awards 2024.
The East Midlands Chamber’s Leicestershire Business Awards is considered one of the most important Chamber events and celebrates outstanding success across Leicestershire. This year the awards highlighted those that, through showing resilience and overcoming challenges, drive Leicestershire to thrive, whether through their approach to their people, their customers, or sustainability.
The impressive black-tie gala was held on Friday 8 November at De Montfort University and brought together businesses from across the region to celebrate excellence and innovation.
Howes Percival won the Commitment to People Development Award, recognising its outstanding investment in employee growth and development. It was noted that the award reflected the firm’s dedication to making Howes Percival ‘a place where people want to work and enjoy working’, ensuring teams thrive both personally and professionally.
Howes Percival was also crowned Leicestershire Business of the Year - the flagship award, given to a standout winner of any of the award categories during the event. The recipient then goes through to the regional and national British Chambers of Commerce Awards in 2025.
Satnam Chayra, after winning the Business of the Year Award, said:
We are passionate about our people, we’re passionate about Leicester. We’re grateful to be recognised. The Leicestershire Business Awards are very important because we need to recognise achievement, promote businesses and work together.
Howes Percival’s Chairperson, Geraint Davies said:
We are absolutely delighted to have received these awards. They are a testament to the hard work of our entire team, and their dedication to our clients, and underscore our commitment to both our people and the local community.
